Acts 5:12-42
The mission of the church is clearly declared:
- Acts 1:8 – We are to be witnesses
- Matthew 28:19-20 – We are to make disciples
Every aspect of church life needs to be pointed toward this mission:
- Our Worship is intended to grow us deeper
- Our Discipleship is intended to grow us stronger
- Our Fellowship is intended to grow us closer
All of these prepare us and equip us to reach out to the lost with the truth of the Gospel.
Seven Key Components that contribute to the early church’s ability to accomplish her mission:
- Purity
- Power
- Proclamation
- Persecution
- Persistence:
- Praising
- Productivity
